Maria Laborde is a Mexican judoka who has represented Mexico in various international competitions. She was born in Cuba, but after marrying Mexican judoka Nabor Castillo, she became a naturalized Mexican citizen
She is a Venezuelan model who began her catwalk career by obtaining the Miss Teen Carabobo 2015 band. She represented her native state in Miss Teen Venezuela. In terms of education, she studied at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).Her relationship with the Braves player began in 2019 and culminated in the formation of a family with two children to whom Maria is devoted, so she moved away from modeling.
A marriage that can withstand anything
Ronald Acuña Jr. and she gained relevance in August last year because they decided to get married in an unexpected ceremony. Their wedding was planned for when they traveled to Venezuela in late 2025; however, they brought it forward because Laborde and her two little ones, Ronald Daniel and Jamall, had to return to the South American country for at least three months as a result of a clause in their US visas.
They were married in Agoura Hills. The couple said “I do” a day before the series between Atlanta and the Dodgers, a matchup that brought Acuna Jr. the record for home runs and stolen bases in an MLB season.
