Paige Spiranac has spent years sharing almost every corner of her golf life with millions of followers, but her romantic life has remained one of the few subjects she has consistently kept out of view.
That made her latest YouTube video unusually revealing. In a “Confession time” Q&A filmed on a golf course in Florida, Spiranac addressed questions about dating, past relationships and the players she once found attractive while coming up through the sport.
She also pushed back on the assumption that her fame has translated into a long list of celebrity partners.
“I have not dated anyone famous,” Spiranac said. “I haven’t dated that many people in general.
“I was homeschooled from fourth grade all the way until college,” she added. “It was a very sheltered life.”
Spiranac reveals golfers who caught her eye
Spiranac was also asked about her type and whether there were golfers she had a crush on when she was younger. Her answer was straightforward.
“I don’t really have a type,” she said. “But my type is someone who can hit a golf ball really well.”
She then named Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele as the two golfers she had the “biggest crush” on during her junior golf years.
Both went on to become major champions, making the admission an amusing look back at a time before Spiranac herself became one of golf’s most recognizable media personalities.
Before her online career took off, she played collegiately at the University of Arizona and San Diego State. She later stepped away from pursuing a full-time professional playing career and built a massive social-media following instead.
That visibility has brought plenty of speculation about her relationships. Spiranac was previously married to athletic trainer Steven Tinoco. She revealed in 2022 that she was no longer married, but has shared few details publicly about the end of the relationship.

Spiranac made clear that the privacy is intentional rather than accidental.
“I have so many supportive people who follow me,” she said. “I think a lot of people would be really excited if I got married, or if I decided to have children, and that’s not the reason why I don’t talk about it.”
She added: “I’ve just always wanted to keep a section of me to myself.”
That distinction is important because Spiranac has built a career on accessibility. Her content is often personal, candid and conversational, which can make fans feel as though very little is off limits.
Her latest comments show otherwise. She is willing to joke about old crushes and address assumptions about her dating history, but she has drawn a clear boundary around current relationships and future family plans.
That may be the most revealing part of the entire confession. Spiranac is comfortable letting fans into much of her world. She just doesn’t believe they need all of it.
