The 2026 Genesis Scottish Open is set to deliver one of the most exciting weeks on the golf calendar as some of the world’s best players compete at The Renaissance Club in Scotland.
With the tournament acting as a final major test before The Open Championship, fans can expect a strong field featuring stars from the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf.
Golf viewers wanting to watch the action live will have several options. In the United States, the tournament’s television coverage will be shared between Golf Channel and CBS, while streaming coverage will be available through PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+ and CBS broadcasts can also be streamed on Paramount+.
Fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland can watch on Sky Sports, while fans in Canada can watch on the Golf Channel.
The event takes place from Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, July 12 at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. The tournament carries a $9 million purse, with the winner earning a $1.62 million share.
This year’s field includes defending champion Chris Gotterup, former winners Rory McIlroy, Robert MacIntyre and Xander Schauffele, along with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and LIV Golf star Jon Rahm.

In the USA the opening two rounds will be shown on Golf Channel, with coverage beginning from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET on both Thursday and Friday.
Weekend coverage will begin on Golf Channel before moving to CBS for the afternoon action, with Saturday and Sunday broadcasts running from 10 a.m. to noon on Golf Channel and noon to 3 p.m. ET on CBS.
For fans who prefer online viewing, PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+ will provide expanded coverage throughout all four rounds.
The service will feature early tournament coverage, featured groups and featured holes, giving viewers access to more players and shots than the main television broadcasts. Streaming coverage begins at 3:15 a.m. ET on Thursday and Friday, 3:45 a.m. ET on Saturday, and 6:30 a.m. ET on Sunday.
International viewers will also have access to coverage through DP World Tour broadcast partners, while featured group coverage is available through the DP World Tour’s YouTube channel in many regions outside the United States and Japan.
The commentary team for this year’s event will include Andrew Coltart and David Howell leading the live coverage, with Rich Beem, Sam Torrance and Nick Dougherty adding expert analysis. On-course reporting will come from Wayne Riley and Iona Stephen, while Tim Barter will handle interviews throughout the tournament.
