The 10th edition of the SheBelieves Cup was played in three cities, first in Houston, Texas, then in Glendale, Arizona and finally in San Diego, California.
The United States has won the tournament seven times, including each of the last five years, and will face Japan for the title on Wednesday, as both teams go into the game unbeaten.
The United States defeated Colombia 2-0 and then beat Australia 2-1, but needs to finish with a win, as a draw would give glory to Japan on goal difference, after their resounding 4-0 victories over Australia and 4-1 over Colombia.
