David Adeleye and Jeamie Tshikeva will step into the ring today to contest the British heavyweight title. They will face each other on the undercard of the fight between Joe Joyce and Filip Hrgovic.

It will be the second time that ‘Big D’ has attempted to win the British heavyweight title. The first was in 2023 against Fabio Wardley, but he did not succeed.

And next Saturday, Adeleye will have a new opportunity to win the title, while Jeamie Tshikeva is aiming for a British belt for the first time.

The Lonsdale belt was vacated after Fabio Wardley entered negotiations with Kubrat Pulev for the WBA “Regular” title, in a fight that could take place in the summer, according to Ring Magazine.

Both fighters have measured their strength in the gym before, and both come with outstanding victories.

Adeleye, who has a record of 13-1, 12 KOs, defeated Solomon Dacres by knockout in one round to win the English title in his last fight.

The fight between David Adeleye and Jeamie TKV will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Co-op Live in Manchester.

The event will begin at 19:00 BST / 14:00 ET / 11:00 PT. The ringwalks for Adeleye vs. Tshikeva are expected to be around 21:00 BST / 16:00 ET / 13:00 PT
