In a match where all eyes were on him, Vinícius Jr. shined despite alleged racist insults in Portugal. The Brazilian star scored once again, proving he is in top form at a critical moment for Real Madrid, a club desperate for his impact.

Vinícius Jr.’s hot streak arrives at the perfect time

A week ago, José Mourinho criticized Vini’s celebration as “excessive,” sparking reactions from the crowd and Benfica players. Today, he celebrated in the same way after scoring, extending his best goal-scoring streak with the Real Madrid shirt.

The Brazilian winger has found the net in his last five matches across all competitions, totaling six goals-matching his previous best streak from August to September 2022.

During these five games, Vinícius Jr. scored against Rayo Vallecano, netted a brace versus Benfica, scored against Osasuna, and doubled against Real Sociedad.

His goals are crucial for Real Madrid, keeping the team alive in European competitions-one of only two tournaments they remain in after being eliminated from the Copa del Rey. This timing couldn’t be better, as LaLiga title hopes and Champions League ambitions rely on Vinícius Jr. staying sharp and decisive.
