Valspar Championship course changes & key challenges
The Copperhead Course remains a demanding test of precision and ball-striking, with recent tweaks adding to its difficulty.
The tournament layout now stretches to 7,352 yards, matching last week’s setup at TPC Sawgrass.
Players will also face a modified ninth hole, with tee placements shifting to extend the distance and bring more hazards into play.
Malnati’s ability to navigate this final test bogey-free helped him secure a two-shot victory in 2024, and it will likely play a key role in deciding this year’s champion.
First-round play begins Thursday at 7:30 a.m. ET, with a stacked field featuring some of the PGA Tour’s biggest names alongside a deep roster of contenders looking for a breakthrough win.
