Truist Championship 2025: Schedule, date, tee times, TV channel and field

Golf fans, get ready-the 2025 Truist Championship is just around the corner, teeing off from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 11. This year’s tournament will take place at the Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course, a historic venue that brings a fresh twist to one of the PGA Tour’s premier spring events.

Schedule & Tee Times

The action begins Thursday morning, and each day’s rounds will follow a similar schedule. Here’s when the first tee times start across different U.S. time zones11:09 a.m. (ET), 10:09 a.m. (CT), 9:09 a.m. (MT), 8:09 a.m. (PT)

One of the headline groups Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Tommy Fleetwood, will tee off on Thursday at 12:26 p.m. ET, 11:26 a.m. CT, 10:26 a.m. MT, 9:26 a.m. PT

Tee times will vary each day, so be sure to check the full schedule on the official website.

You won’t want to miss a moment-and thankfully, there are plenty of ways to watch:

  • CBS Sports takes over on the weekend with live broadcasts.

This year’s field is packed with talent, featuring 72 of the PGA Tour’s best players, including:

  • Rory McIlroy – Four-time Truist champion and defending titleholder
  • Xander Schauffele – Last year’s runner-up
  • Collin Morikawa
  • Justin Thomas
  • Ludvig Åberg

Notably missing from the field is World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who chose to compete in-and win-the CJ Cup Byron Nelson instead.

Course Overview

The Wissahickon Course is a gem of a layout, designed by legendary architect A.W. Tillinghast. It’s a par-70 track stretching 7,119 yards, known for its classic design, rolling fairways, and strategic challenges. This is the first time the Truist Championship will be held here, giving both players and fans something new to enjoy.
