A Los Angeles, California native, Kayla Nicole is the daughter of entertainment maven Roosevelt Brown. Despite her parents’ divorce, she embraced her mixed heritage. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Pepperdine University.
Combining her education with her experience in child modeling, she eventually participated in beauty pageants, nearly winning the Miss Malibu crown in 2013.
