Travis Kelce has not yet said whether he will return for another year in the NFL. The season for the Chiefs ended in a way they are not accustomed to, eliminated from the possibility of competing for the Super Bowl. And with this outcome, the team’s tight end will not be able to fight for another Vince Lombardi Trophy and finish his career in the league the way he expected.

That is why speculation continues about whether he will return for the 2026 season or whether, as he had previously planned, the 2025 campaign was his final run in the NFL and he will devote himself to his other business ventures.

While official news emerges about whether he is leaving or staying, Travis has, for now, shared some updates that left his followers very happy because of how they unfolded and the benefit they provide.

Travis Kelce’s charitable work

Travis Kelce was nominated for the 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award; however, that is not the only thing that stands out about his major altruistic efforts, which generate significant public attention.

For several years now, he has carried out actions to support people in need, and from his own platform he supports them and always stays closely involved in those initiatives.

And it is because of this type of activity away from the gridiron that, through the vote of the public, he has now won Nationwide’s Charity Challenge. This was announced in the latest episode of the podcast he hosts alongside his brother, Jason, New Heights.

This recognition was granted for the impactful work he delivers through his foundation, 87 & Running, from which he supports young people through education, mentorship, entrepreneurship and enrichment programs in the United States.

We’ve been doing this since the beginning of my career.”… “It’s cool to see some of these familiar faces grow into high school kids, and it’s awesome.

As noted, Kelce is one of the 32 nominees for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, given to players who “demonstrate a steadfast commitment to creating a positive impact beyond the game.”

Growing up, I had a beautiful childhood and that has everything to do with my parents.

And I was able to relate to all those kids growing up,” he continued. “I don’t care what you look like, where you come from; I’m gonna be friendly and lend a helping hand.

Travis Kelce’s great personality is reflected in his actions, and people reward him for that.
