In a conversation with “Universo Valdano”, Carlo Ancelotti was asked if he had ever had a fight with a player after a substitution and the Italian commented that it happened to him with the German midfielder, Toni Kroos.
“Once I took Kroos off and he was angry. The next day I didn’t talk to him. We met before going out on the pitch. I asked him if we needed to talk and he told me that it had already happened,” Ancelotti recalled.
Ancelotti has always been known for having good control of the dressing room and speaking things face to face, so the situation with Kroos is not surprising and was resolved in a good way.

After Ancelotti’s confession, Toni Kroos’ response was not long in coming and via X he made a strong comment about the situation he experienced with his former coach at Real Madrid.
Ancelotti’s interview was shared on X and that’s where Toni Kroos quoted the video and left a response that generated a lot of laughs among his followers and Real Madrid fans.
