The spotlight on Tom Brady continues to shine, despite personal setbacks off the field.

While his romantic life has faced public scrutiny, it’s clear that his professional trajectory remains unaffected, as he continues to accumulate accomplishments and extend his influence across multiple sports.

Retirement from the NFL has not slowed Brady down; instead, it has opened doors to new ventures, global recognition, and record-setting moments in the broadcasting booth.

This past Thanksgiving, Brady was at the center of football history once again. Broadcasting the highly anticipated matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions for Fox Sports, he witnessed the game attract an astonishing 47.7 million viewers.

Taking to Instagram, Brady shared his excitement with a simple, enthusiastic, “LFG,” celebrating the record-breaking audience. Not long after, the Cowboys versus Chiefs game on CBS topped that with 61.4 million viewers, cementing Thanksgiving 2025 as a landmark day for NFL television.

After retiring, Brady signed a decade-long contract with Fox, joining the network’s elite broadcast team.

The success of the Thanksgiving games demonstrates that both Brady and Fox made a wise investment.

The NFL’s consistent draw combined with Brady‘s magnetic presence makes for an unbeatable combination, and the record-breaking ratings speak volumes about his continued relevance in sports media.

Brady expands his footprint globally with FIFA involvement

Beyond football, Brady is broadening his sports portfolio internationally. Next year, the FIFA World Cup will return to the United States, featuring an expanded 48-team tournament.

Brady will play a unique role during the group-stage draw alongside legends such as Shaquille O’Neal, Wayne Gretzky, and Aaron Judge.

While Rio Ferdinand will oversee the main proceedings, Brady and the other sports icons will assist in selecting which teams fill the 12 groups.

“Being part of the final draw for the FIFA World Cup is an incredible honor. It’s the kind of global stage every athlete dreams of. I’m excited to help set the path for a tournament that brings the world together like nothing else,” Brady said.

This involvement isn’t a passing interest, he owns a minority stake in Birmingham City and has long shown a fascination with soccer, including attending memorable matches featuring Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

From breaking NFL viewership records to participating in globally celebrated events like the FIFA World Cup, Tom Brady continues to redefine what it means to thrive in retirement.

His professional success clearly overshadows personal controversies, proving that even when life off the field falters, his career momentum remains unstoppable. Fans can look forward to seeing Brady in action again, whether calling NFL games or shaping the future of international soccer.

This combination of broadcasting dominance and global sports involvement ensures that Tom Brady remains one of the most influential figures in athletics today, a testament to his enduring drive and versatility.
