Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump may be quietly seeing each other, but sources say their relationship is still in the early stages. While the two have been spending time together, insiders describe their connection as “very casual” for now.
One of the biggest factors linking Woods, 49, and Trump, 47, is their children’s dedication to golf. Woods’ son, Charlie, 16, and Trump’s daughter, Kai, 17, are both rising stars in the sport, bringing their parents into the same circles.
“Their kids are going places in golf and are both very disciplined about the sport. That’s something Tiger and Vanessa have in common,” an insider shared with People Magazine.
Another source noted that Trump has a history of being drawn to successful, high-profile partners but prefers to stay out of the spotlight herself.
“Vanessa has always been comfortable with well-known men or those with big careers, but she isn’t someone who seeks attention,” the source explained.
“She’s smart, discreet, and above all, a devoted mother.”
Keeping their priorities on family and philanthropy
While their relationship has sparked interest, both Woods and Trump remain focused on their families and personal commitments. A third insider noted that the similarities between the two continue.
“Like Tiger, Vanessa is invested in charity work and prioritizing her children.”
Though neither Woods nor Trump have publicly commented on their romance, PEOPLE confirmed on March 13 that they had been quietly dating for several months. The Daily Mail was the first to report the news.
Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years before filing for divorce in 2018. A source close to her ex-husband stated that he is “cool with” her new relationship with Woods.
As for Woods, he shares two children-Charlie and 17-year-old Sam Alexis-with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, whom he divorced in 2010.
In February, Woods attended the Genesis Invitational in San Diego alongside Vanessa and Kai. Just days later, he was honored at the White House during a Black History Month event hosted by Vanessa’s former father-in-law, former President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, both Kai and Charlie are preparing to compete in the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club in South Carolina on March 19. Whether Woods and Trump’s connection grows stronger remains to be seen, but for now, they are taking things one step at a time-on and off the golf course.
