The season began slowly for Cooper Flagg with the Dallas Mavericks. What was expected to be a dominant campaign for the rookie took some time as he adjusted to the professional level and to his teammates.

They have managed to capitalize on the Mavericks player’s injuries to insert themselves firmly into the award conversation. Meanwhile, Maxime Raynaud of the Sacramento Kings and Ace Bailey of the Utah Jazz are also drawing closer.

Even without leading the statistical charts across every category, both players have demonstrated resilience and growth that resonate with voters.
With several months remaining in the campaign, the Rookie of the Year battle promises to remain one of the league’s most compelling storylines.
