The encounter between Tiger Woods and Paige Spiranac was so strong that the former golfer will never wash her jacket again

While Tiger Woods recovers from a ruptured Achilles tendon, sidelined for the entirety of the 2025 season, his influence continues to shape the game and captivate fans.

Paige Spiranac, a former pro golfer turned social media star, recently shared a heartfelt recollection of her first encounter with Woods, a moment that clearly left a lasting impression.

“The most nervous I’ve ever been to meet someone was definitely Tiger Woods,” she admitted. “He gave me a chipping lesson… I was shaking like a leaf.”

It wasn’t just his technique that left her awestruck. According to Spiranac, Woods exudes a magnetic aura few can match.

“He has this aura about him… Almost like he’s not like a human,” she said.

“He also smells so good… like that’s how a winner smells.”

For Spiranac, the encounter ended on a note of reverence-one only a true fan could express.

“He gave me a hug at the end and I was like I may never wash his jacket ever again,” she quipped.

With Woods out, Spiranac shifts spotlight to PGA favorites

As the 2025 PGA Championship unfolds at Quail Hollow Club without its most iconic figure, Spiranac is doing more than reminiscing-she’s helping to educate and energize a new generation of fans.

She recently used her social media platform to clarify a common misconception, reminding viewers that the PGA Championship is organized by the PGA of America, not the PGA Tour.

In a bold and fitting tribute, Spiranac rocked a Sunday Red outfit-a nod to Woods‘ legendary final-round look.

Her fashion statement, paired with her outspoken commentary, brought a splash of charisma to the tournament’s early coverage. It’s a reminder that while Woods may be absent, his spirit continues to shape the culture around the sport.

With the legend off the leaderboard, all eyes are now on contenders like Rory McIlroy, who’s chasing a second major victory this season, and Scottie Scheffler, the current world No. 1 and heavy favorite coming off a dominant win at the Byron Nelson.
