Lamine Yamal continues to generate attention both on and off the pitch, and one particular piece of memorabilia from his historic debut with FC Barcelona is now being valued at more than 100,000 euros.
The young star, widely regarded as one of the most exciting talents in world football, once again impressed fans after scoring a stunning goal against Athletic Club at San Mamés Stadium. But while his performances continue to make headlines, an unusual story involving a collector has also captured attention.
Yamal made his senior debut for Barcelona on April 29, 2023, in a match against Real Betis.
At the time, he was just 15 years, 9 months and 16 days old, becoming the youngest player to debut for Barcelona in La Liga in the 21st century.
The winger entered the match in the 88th minute, replacing Gavi while wearing the No. 41 shirt. Although he only played a few minutes, he immediately showed flashes of his talent and nearly scored his first goal before a save from Rui Silva denied him.

Debut shorts now valued at 100,000 euros
As often happens with historic sporting moments, collectors quickly began searching for items connected to Yamal’s debut.
According to a report highlighted by DAZN, a family from Cologne claims to own the shorts Yamal wore during that first appearance for Barcelona.
The father and son, described as devoted fans of the young winger, revealed that they are willing to sell the shorts – but only for a six-figure price.
“These are the shorts from his debut. He wore them when he was 15 years old,” the father explained.
“I sell them for 100,000. Not for less.”
The family says they have been collecting items connected to Yamal since his early rise in football.
“We collect everything from Lamine Yamal,” the father said during the interview, emphasizing that their interest began when the player was still just 15 years old.
Among the items in their collection is also Yamal‘s first signed Megacrak trading card, another piece they believe could increase in value as the player’s career continues to grow.
Yamal, who now wears the No. 10 shirt for Barcelona, is widely seen as one of the brightest prospects in European football.
Despite being only 18 years old, he has already become a key figure for the club and frequently takes on major responsibility in big matches.
The collector from Cologne even made a bold prediction about the young winger’s future.
“Lamine is going to be the best player in history,” the collector declared.
While such claims may sound ambitious, Yamal‘s rapid rise has already made his early career moments – including the shorts from his debut – highly valuable to collectors and fans alike.
