The Philadelphia Eagles delivered another gut punch to the Kansas City Chiefs-and the internet didn’t hold back. Sunday’s showdown at Arrowhead Stadium seemed like the perfect opportunity for Patrick Mahomes & Co. to avenge their Super Bowl LIX defeat. But Jalen Hurts led the Eagles to a gritty 20-17 win, and social media had a field day.

For the Chiefs, this wasn’t just another loss. It marked their first 0-2 start since 2014-before Mahomes even became the starting quarterback. It’s also the first time Mahomes has dropped three straight games, including the Super Bowl, since his college days.

After nearly a decade of Kansas City dominance, NFL fans seized the moment. The internet erupted with memes, jokes, and hot takes, gleefully roasting the reigning champs in a frenzy rarely seen before.
