Skip Bayless lashes out at Tiger Woods and advises him on how to spend his $1.3 billion fortune to save his life

Skip Bayless lashed out at Tiger Woods after his latest arrest, bluntly arguing that the golf icon should use his $1.3 billion fortune more wisely, specifically to safeguard his life by eliminating risky situations like driving himself.

The incident in Florida, where Tiger Woods‘ vehicle overturned after a failed overtaking attempt, quickly became more than a routine crash story, as it reignited scrutiny over his lifestyle, health struggles, and the decisions surrounding his personal safety.

Authorities confirmed Tiger Woods was arrested and later released on bail, with officers noting he appeared lethargic at the scene, despite returning a negative breathalyser result, which shifted attention toward possible impairment linked to medication use.

As details unfolded, concerns deepened because Tiger Woods has undergone numerous surgeries, and has battled persistent injuries, making his physical condition a central factor, especially when evaluating how he manages daily activities like driving.

Reacting strongly, Skip Bayless pointed directly to that medical history, suggesting it may have influenced Tiger Woods‘ condition, while also criticizing what he sees as preventable risk given the golfer’s immense wealth.

“Tiger Woods, golfer, has had as many surgeries as just about any NFL player ever,” Skip Bayless said. “Sounds like he has lived on prescription drugs.

“He’s lucky he hasn’t killed himself or someone else driving impaired. He’s worth 1.3 billion dollars. SO OBVIOUSLY HE SHOULD HIRE A PERMANENT DRIVER.”

Skip Bayless‘ remarks framed the issue less as a one-off mistake and more as a pattern, arguing that Tiger Woods‘ financial resources should remove any necessity for him to be behind the wheel, particularly given his ongoing recovery challenges.

Woods’ latest car crash lands Tiger in scandal

This is not the first time Tiger Woods has faced such circumstances, as a 2017 incident saw him found asleep in his car, later attributing the situation to prescription medication, and ultimately pleading guilty to reckless driving.

Sheriff John Budensiek outlined the latest charges, including property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test, while emphasizing that alcohol was not suspected, reinforcing the likelihood of medication playing a role.

“He [Tiger Woods] was lethargic on scene but we believe that was because of what he was intoxicated on,” the sheriff said as investigators explained Tiger Woods declined a urine test, despite completing other roadside evaluations.

He is said to have passed a breathalyser test as John Budensiek detailed how the crash occurred when he attempted to overtake a truck towing equipment on a narrow residential road.

The truck driver reportedly tried to move aside to avoid impact, yet space constraints prevented a clean escape, resulting in Tiger Woods‘ vehicle rolling over, though fortunately no injuries were reported in the collision.

Tiger Woods‘ history of serious crashes, including a devastating 2021 accident that required emergency extraction, continues to shape public concern, especially as he has undergone multiple surgeries and lengthy rehabilitation periods.

With his career already limited by injuries, including a ruptured Achilles tendon, uncertainty surrounds his immediate future, while Skip Bayless‘ criticism underscores a sharper point about responsibility and the practical use of wealth.
