Since his accident, Tiger Woods has been inundated with offers of free rides: no one wants him to drive again

Tiger Woods finds himself at a critical crossroads following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence on Friday afternoon.

The 15-time major champion was involved in a dramatic incident shortly before 2:00 pm when his Land Rover overturned on South Beach Road.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Woods was attempting to overtake a pickup truck pulling a pressure-cleaning trailer at a high rate of speed on a narrow two-lane road. After clipping the trailer, his SUV flipped onto the driver’s side and slid a considerable distance.

While Woods miraculously crawled out of the passenger-side window uninjured, he was subsequently charged with DUI, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

Because Woods declined a urinalysis at the Martin County Jail, he faces an automatic one-year license suspension under Florida’s implied consent laws, which were significantly strengthened under “Trenton’s Law” in October 2025.

According to TMZ, this legal reality has prompted several Florida-based transportation companies to publicly extend their support, aiming to provide the golfer with a reliable way to navigate his recovery without the risks of being behind the wheel.

The Black Car Company (TBCC) was among the first to offer its services, citing Woods’ extensive contributions to the Florida community and the game of golf as their primary motivation.

A spokesperson for the company noted that they would like to officially extend an open invitation to Mr. Woods for complimentary, gold-standard transportation services in light of recent events.

A professional guardrail for a legend in recovery

The outreach from Jupiter-area luxury firms is specifically designed to address the privacy concerns that have historically made Woods hesitant to employ full-time chauffeurs.

Understanding that discretion is a non-negotiable factor for a public figure of his stature, TBCC has emphasized its ability to provide a secure, private, and stress-free environment that allows the golfer to focus on his family and personal health.

The company expressed a strong desire to help a legend focus on his recovery and his family while they handle the driving, highlighting a shift toward a discretion-first model that could bridge the gap between Woods’ need for independence and his current legal limitations.

The wave of solidarity from the local business community has created a diverse safety net of high-end options for the veteran athlete.

Palm Beach Advantage Limo has made a standing offer to assist the golf star at any time, with the owner stating they are happy to help him any day and any time he might require.

Similarly, LUXY Technologies is seeking to personally connect with Woods to ensure he has a professional option that respects his legacy.

COO Eric Redding remarked that he would be more than happy to make sure Woods always has a reliable, professional option available to get him wherever he needs to go, emphasizing that the primary goal is to see the champion get healthy and return to the form that inspired millions.
