According to the official Los Angeles Dodgers account on X (formerly Twitter), it posted the following: “Shohei Ohtani sets a new franchise record for the Dodgers for home runs in a season with 55!”.

In 2024, Shohei Ohtani set a new personal home run record for the Los Angeles Dodgers with 54.
