But now, things have come full circle. Olympia has officially taken over as head pancake chef, embracing her role in the family kitchen and making sure that her little sister Adira gets the same experience she did.
A cherished Sunday morning tradition
The Papa Pancakes ritual began as a simple family tradition that Ohanian carried over from his own childhood. What started as a basic weekend breakfast quickly turned into something much more creative.
By the time Olympia turned five, she was actively helping her father in the kitchen, learning not just how to cook but also how to turn pancakes into artistic masterpieces.
Then, in May 2023, the tradition took on an even deeper meaning. Baby Adira was welcomed into the family’s pancake-making legacy.
Ohanian shared a heartwarming Instagram story of his youngest daughter enjoying a pancake that was not only made by him-but also with the help of her big sister, Olympia.
This marked the beginning of a new phase in their tradition, one where Olympia was no longer just a helper-she was now leading the way.
Olympia steps up as the family’s ‘head chef’
Recently, Ohanian took to Instagram to share a proud dad moment with his followers. He posted a video of himself and Olympia making pancakes together, captioning it: “Jr was working that griddle this morning! #PapaPancakes about to be OlympiaPancakes.”
Later, he shared the same clip on X along with a set of pictures showcasing their latest pancake creations. This time, his caption emphasized Olympia’s growing role in the family kitchen.

Ohanian previously shared that Adira’s presence has awakened a “maternal spirit” in Olympia, and watching her take on the role of big sister has been a profoundly touching experience.
