Rory McIlroy rocks Paige Spiranac at The Masters and his prediction is finally one step away from coming true

Few people are enjoying the 2025 Masters as much as Paige Spiranac and she has shown just how excited she is to see Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau face off in the final round at Augusta National Golf Club.

The action takes place on Sunday, April 13 and Spiranac recently shared a post on X that featured herself smiling with her eyes closed as the Georgia sun beats down on her face.

“Mood when you get to watch Rory and Bryson in the final group tomorrow at The Masters,” she captioned the post.

Spiranac has been early to back McIlroy to win the Masters, as she wrote on X in March: “Rory to win The Masters. I know but really this year is the year it’s happening.”

A huge day for McIlroy

With back-to-back rounds of 66, Rory McIlroy has surged to a two-shot lead, setting the stage for what could be the crowning achievement of his illustrious career: the elusive career grand slam.

If he clinches the title on Sunday, it would end his 11-year drought in major championships and firmly cement his legacy among golf’s all-time greats.

McIlroy, who has battled heartbreak at Augusta in the past, is not letting the weight of history distract him. After his third round, he emphasized the importance of staying mentally focused and avoiding the temptation to frame Sunday’s showdown as a rematch against DeChambeau.

“I think the big thing is not to make it a rematch, stay in my own little world,” McIlroy said.

“There’s a few other people on that leaderboard that could make a run, so I just have to do what I’ve been doing, sort of surround myself in my own little cocoon and just get into my own little bubble.”
