As Super Bowl 60 approaches, the NFL is focusing on one of its most attractive events of the big week: the 2026 Pro Bowl, an exhibition that brings together the league’s top players in a revamped format that is safer and more dynamic. Since 2023, the NFL has moved away from the traditional full-contact game and opted for a scheme that combines flag football and skills challenges, prioritizing the physical integrity of the players and the spectacle for the fans.

The event will take place on Tuesday, February 3, and will officially be part of the pre-Super Bowl celebrations. This year’s rosters are headlined by high-impact names such as Puka Nacua, Christian McCaffrey and Bijan Robinson for the NFC, while the AFC boasts figures such as Josh Allen, Ja’Marr Chase, Jonathan Taylor and James Cook.

Pro Bowl gets a makeover and a new date

The NFL has decided to move the Pro Bowl to midweek and place it within the official Super Bowl schedule, breaking with the tradition of playing it on the weekend. All events will be concentrated into a single evening, with the flag football game as the main event.

The Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, will be the venue for the event, a strategic choice because of its proximity to the site of Super Bowl 60.

Key figures in the NFC and AFC squads

In the NFC, the spotlight is on the explosive offense led by Puka Nacua, accompanied by Amon-Ra St. Brown, Christian McCaffrey and Bijan Robinson, as well as a defense commanded by Micah Parsons, Aidan Hutchinson and Brian Burns.

Meanwhile, the AFC boasts a star-studded roster with Josh Allen as the main quarterback, the aerial power of Ja’Marr Chase and Nico Collins, and a fearsome defense led by Myles Garrett, T.J. Watt and Maxx Crosby.

Some players marked with an asterisk will be replaced due to their participation in the Super Bowl, as dictated by the rules.

How to watch the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl on TV and streaming

The event will be televised and digitally covered, making it accessible to fans both in the United States and internationally.
