Pedri names Mbappé as his dream Barcelona signing

The rivalry between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid knows no limits. In fact, we could say that the tension surrounding El Clásico is more than evident, although that perception might change after hearing from two current Blaugrana stars.

Pedri and Ferran’s revelation about their Real Madrid rivals

Pedri and Ferran Torres appeared on El Hormiguero on Antena 3, where they answered a series of questions that revealed more details about the Barcelona dressing room and their relationship with their biggest rivals at Real Madrid.

When asked whether they had friends within the Real Madrid squad, Pedri replied: “Yes, one or two,” while staring at Ferran Torres. “We get along well. We don’t have friends we call every day, but we get along well,” he added, softening the intensity often associated with the Barcelona vs Real Madrid rivalry.

Eventually, they faced what many consider the ultimate El Clásico question: if they could sign one player from Real Madrid, who would it be? Both Barcelona footballers agreed on the same name – Kylian Mbappé.

The choice is hardly surprising. The French superstar is currently one of the best players in the world and is leading the Pichichi race in LaLiga with 23 goals, seven more than his closest challenger, Vedat Muriqi. Much of the success that Real Madrid enjoys this season can be attributed to Mbappé’s impact, further fueling the competitive fire of El Clásico.
