Paige Spiranac, the globally recognized golf influencer and former professional player, has officially stepped into a leadership position with one of golf’s most cutting-edge ventures: the Grass League.

On Wednesday, the league announced that Spiranac had joined its front office, marking a significant step in her evolving role in the world of sports business and entertainment.

The Grass League broke the news on Instagram, calling Spiranac “THE OG golf influencer” and praising her contributions to the sport through both her playing background and digital influence.

“We are honored to announce Paige Spiranac has joined the Grass League front office. We are excited to have Paige on the team and look forward to working together to shape the future of golf,” read the official statement.

Spiranac, who has built a massive online following since retiring from professional golf, also shared her excitement about the opportunity.

“Couldn’t be more excited!” she responded to the post, later expanding on her plans during an interactive Q&A on the league’s Instagram account.

Spiranac to focus on branding, partnerships, and growing the league’s footprint

During her Instagram takeover, Spiranac offered insight into her new responsibilities with the Grass League.

“I am joining the front office and I’m going to be heavily involved with Grass League moving forward,” she confirmed in one of her videos.

Outlining her role, she added, “I’ll mostly be focusing on brand development and growth, fan engagement, content strategy across all platforms, seeking out new team owners, new talent, and new partnerships.”

Her involvement is expected to significantly amplify the league’s presence in both the sports and digital media landscapes.

The Grass League is an up-and-coming par-3 golf circuit known for its distinctive night-time events held at LED-lit courses. It combines traditional golf elements with a fresh, entertainment-driven format designed to appeal to younger audiences.

The league is set to host its next marquee event, the Summer Grind, from August 30 to 31 in California-its first outside of its home base in Arizona.

Spiranac, who gained national recognition for her collegiate golf career and went on to play professionally before retiring in 2019, now commands over four million Instagram followers and more than 11 million fans across platforms.

Her transition into executive leadership reflects a broader movement of athletes and media personalities leveraging their platforms to influence the business of sports directly.

With Spiranac joining the leadership team, the Grass League is poised for a new phase of growth and innovation.

Her reach, combined with the league’s fresh approach to golf, could redefine how fans engage with the sport and what it means to compete in the modern era.
