The story is simple, while a legal controversy over the energy drinks of Lionel Messi and Logan Paul was at a point where they could face each other with bickering, it was the footballer’s bodyguard who did what is expected of his job, to put his face for his ‘boss’ and it was thus that the possibility of a confrontation in the ring between Paul and Yassine Cheuko arose.
We all know how the Paul brothers operate in order to find lucrative outlets for their ‘businesses’ and knowing what sells, what they do to make their ‘delusions’ come true which they then sell as sport to an entertainment industry that loves shows as long as they make money.
This is how the problem between Paul and Cheuko arose
The possibility of a fight between Paul and Cheuko was first fueled by Logan Paul’s big mouth, who ‘challenged’ Messi to get in a ring with him, and then by the responses he got from the former US Army soldier, who during a training session said that Leo did not know who Logan was, so if what he wanted was to fight, he was willing to face him: “Listen Logan, I make this video because a lot of people have stopped me in the streets and I have received many messages and comments on Instagram about this fight. Let’s make the fight for the people. Let’s do it,” Yassine said at the time.
Seeing the trouble he got into, Logan Paul argued to turn Cheuko around, that “he is a WWE superstar and doesn’t have the time for that“.
This led to the bodyguard’s insistence on making the boxing match a reality, where by the way Logan has not fared well, and he dedicated some messages on Instagram that escalated: “Lolo, the king of excuses…” and the hashtags “signthecontractlolo”, “stopexecuses” and “nowayout”.
The new ‘disagreement’
In response, Logan Paul said: “You’re Messi’s bodyguard; that’s crazy, brother. You make a lot of money, but apparently not enough because you want to do that big fight that I don’t give a damn about doing, because I’m a WWE superstar who found his calling in life (…) If you want to come see me in your spare time, we’re in Puerto Rico, let’s do it bare-knuckle and without a mouth guard. Come and fight me; if not, shut your mouth, scammer“
To which Cheuko responded: “Hey, Lolo, you look so handsome with your blond hair. Why are you getting nervous? Stop dramatizing. So now you’re looking for another excuse. Last time you said you were a WWE superstar, and now you’re telling me to go to Puerto Rico to fight in the streets, without gloves, without a mouth guard. You know we can’t do that“.
The matter escalated again… but will there be a fight? What will Logan Paul’s new response be?
