Jose Mourinho, coach of Benfica, was treated on Friday morning at the Hospital do Divino Espirito Santo in Ponta Delgada, hours before his team beat Santa Clara 2-1.
According to the Lisbon newspaper A Bola, the Eagles coach woke up with an inflammation in his ear that caused him discomfort, which led him to visit the medical center in one of the three capitals of the Azores.
His stay at the Hospital do Divino Espirito Santo was no more than an hour. He was treated, medicated and was able to return to the Benfica hotel.
