As reported by TMZ, newly surfaced police body cam footage from a March 6 encounter, just days before Howard filed for divorce on March 9, captures the future Hall of Famer informing officers of his decision to retire, a revelation that his own son appeared to be hearing for the first time during the tense police visit.
The footage, obtained by TMZ and released this week, provides a front-row seat to the unraveling relationship between Dwight and his wife, Amber Howard, also known as rapper Amy Luciani.
The police were called to the property after Amber was reportedly locked out of the estate following an argument. In the recording, Amber claims this was the fourth time authorities had been summoned to the home in a single year, describing a pattern of being kicked out whenever Dwight became upset.
The situation was further complicated by conflicting reports regarding Child Protective Services; Amber alleged the agency had removed Dwight‘s daughter from a previous relationship the night before, a claim Dwight‘s representatives have since categorically denied.
Accusations of negligence
