MLS Cup 2025 Odds: Who are the favorites for this year’s title?

The 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) season is underway and, as always, expectations are very high. The favorites to win the Audi MLS Cup this year are already taking shape and the odds from DraftKings have put several clubs in the spotlight.

Inter Miami CF, with global superstar Lionel Messi, leads the betting at 7/2. The Miami-based team, with the backing of Messi, remains one of the most anticipated to reach the final. However, it’s not just Inter Miami that’s on the radar.

How do odds work with betting?

Odds are a way of seeing the chances of something happening and also of knowing how much you could win if you bet. In this case, we are looking at the odds for the teams that could win the 2025 MLS Cup.

For example, if you bet on Inter Miami to win the MLS Cup and they have odds of 7/2, this means that for every $2 you bet, you would win $7 if the team is crowned champion. If you bet $2, you would get back $9 (your original $2 plus the $7 you won).

Other strong teams in MLS

Los Angeles FC (LAFC), one of the strongest teams in recent years, is hot on Inter Miami’s heels with odds of 6/1. The team has been bolstered by new additions, such as French striker Olivier Giroud, who promises to give them that extra push to win their first MLS title.

LA Galaxy, the current MLS Cup champions after their victory over the New York Red Bulls in 2024, are also among the favorites with odds of 9/1. The Los Angeles team, with a history full of success, will seek to continue to expand its legacy this season.

In addition to these giants, there are teams such as Columbus Crew, who are coming on strong after their 2023 victory, and FC Cincinnati, who have strengthened their squad with high-profile signings such as Kevin Denkey and Evander.

Other teams that are also in the running are Atlanta United, Seattle Sounders and Orlando City, with odds of 18/1 and 20/1 respectively

Additionally, San Diego FC, a newcomer to the league, has attracted attention with higher odds than expected for its first season.

With so many teams strengthened and others relying on young talent, the 2025 season promises to be one of the most exciting in MLS history.
