Dmitry Bivol’s decision to vacate his WBC light heavyweight title, which madeDavid Benavidez the world champion, generated reactions in the sporting world and surprisingly even Micah Parsons, linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, jumped on the subject with a strange claim in which he involved Saul Alvarez.

Parsons reacted to a tweet from Ring magazine reporting that “David Benavidez has been upgraded to WBC light heavyweight world champion, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed”, where they also explained that the decision was justified because the ‘Mexican Monster’ was the owner of the “interim belt before Dmitry Bivol vacated the title”.

The Dallas Cowboys star is usually very active on his social networks, taking advantage of the fact that he is on vacation in the NFL, although in the process of negotiating a renewal with Dallas, which follows in the footsteps of the millionaire contracts obtained by quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Micah Parsons comes to Canelo Alvarez’s defense

Parsons has various opinions on his X account, among the most recent he revealed his plans for a change of look for next season and to play shaved, as well as expressing without filter his first idea when he saw that Benavidez had been confirmed as world champion and with a laugh and eye emojis, question that a similar decision was not taken with Canelo Alvarez, who actually does not need it, as he aims to become undisputed super middleweight champion again, when he faces Cuban William Scull on May 3 in Saudi Arabia.

“Jaja why don’t they do this to Canelo,” Micah Parsons posted on his X account about the decision to make David Benavidez‘s world title official, after Dmitry Bivol vacated the belt.
