More and more, we are seeing public figures get involved in the world of boxing and although they have nothing to do with the ring, now many want to become boxers and have fights with stars of the sport, as is the case with Bad Bunny.

Recently, the singer claimed that he has what it takes to beat Saul Canelo Alvarez and even tie Julio Cesar Chavez, according to a video with Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos.

In addition to talking about his love of boxing, he also stated that he would like to fight the winner between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford, who will face each other on September 12 in Las Vegas. “I have the punch to knock out Canelo.”

“I really like boxing. I would like to fight the winner between Canelo and Crawford. Canelo has never been knocked down and I think I have the punch,” said the reggaeton singer

This was Mauricio Sulaiman’s response to Bad Bunny

Faced with this, Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the World Boxing Council, reacted to a possible fight between the Latin stars and accepted the fight through a video.

There is a good chance of seeing the champion facing the “Baile inolvidable” singer, as it is a trend to see celebrities who are not boxers or fighters in the ring.

In this way, the WBC president sent a message to Benito and asked him to prepare for the fight, as he could fight against the king of the 168 pounds.

“Dear Benito, Bad Bunny, I want you to know that the World Boxing Council (WBC) is going to rank you number one mandatory challenger for the winner of Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford. Start getting ready, daddy. Go for it Bad Bunny,” said Sulaiman.

Bad Bunny and his time in WWE

Let’s remember that Benito has already been present in WWE wrestling, so being in a ring is not unfamiliar to him, as in 2021 he won the WWE 24/7 Championship.

The Puerto Rican took the victory after defeating Akira Tozawa, and was also present at WrestleMania 37 alongside Damien Priest, where they defeated The Miz and John Morrison.
