Lexie Hull bluntly calls out Caitlin Clark after she teased her about her collagen injections

After closing out a tough year and reaching Game 5 of the playoff semifinals, the Indiana Fever players are taking advantage of their time off to rest and spend time with family and friends.

However, Caitlin Clark doesn’t seem to have time for her teammate and friend, Lexie Hull, although she doesn’t shy away from joking around.

CC teases Hull and she complains

During the WNBA offseason, the former Iowa Hawkeye has been seen at multiple events, most recently at a college football game, cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers, who broke a 58-year championship drought by defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes and winning the Big Ten title.

However, in the lead-up to the game, the two-time All-Star Game player took a few minutes out of her busy schedule to play a joke on Hull.

On X, a user highlighted the funny exchange between the Fever teammates: “Lexie drinking shots of collagen and Caitlin bantering as usual,” wrote @nosyone4, sharing a screenshot of Lexie and Caitlin’s comments.

In them, CC teases Hull by commenting, “This is the first time I’ve ever seen u take collagen like this lollllllll exposed,” Clark wrote. Quickly, the 26-year-old guard responded with a complaint to her friend: “How would you know? You don’t hang out with me.”

This reproach comes after both of them, along with Sophie Cunningham, stole the show in November at the LPGA’s Annika Pro-Am tournament, where Clark participated for the second consecutive year and Hull and Cunningham accompanied her as her caddies, which contradicts her claim.

The truth is that the three stars, nicknamed “Tres Leches,” have won the affection of Fever fans, who hope to see them play together next season. However, only CC has a contract, while Hull and Cunningham will have to make a difficult decision about their future since, once the trade period opens on February 1, both will be free agents. Only time will tell whether or not she will continue with Indiana.
