LeBron James decided to ring in the New Year at home, personally preparing the family dinner-a gesture that, judging by his youngest daughter’s reaction, was impressive but didn’t land exactly as intended.

A fancy feast with unexpected reactions

Nothing says “king’s feast” quite like lobster, one of the most exclusive seafood dishes around. But Zhuri, who had been helping with the preparations, was far less impressed. Instead of excitement, she reacted with clear disapproval when faced with the live lobsters on the table.

It wasn’t just Zhuri who raised eyebrows. Fans on social media criticized the choice to post about the live lobsters before they were served. Closing the year with milestones

LeBron James had another reason to want a strong finish to the year. His 41st birthday had been a tough one on the court, as the Lakers fell 128-106 to the Detroit Pistons.
