There’s a new Lamine Yamal. Barcelona‘s promising youngster prepared in a special way for the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals against Atlético Madrid.
The Blaugrana striker decided to change his look ahead of this clash, in which they have to overturn a heavy 4-0 defeat at the Metropolitano, and shared his new look with his fans.

If Barça wants to secure its place in the Copa del Rey final, it will have to go to Spotify Camp Nou and produce a true work of art to overturn a result that gives Diego Simeone’s side a huge advantage. And Lamine could be a big help, as he is coming off a hat-trick against Villareal.
The 18-year-old has become a key player for the team and, for that reason, he didn’t want to leave any loose ends, not even his own style. Before the game, Yamal decided to stop by the barber shop, get a haircut, and maintain his blonde highlights.
Wagner Tenorio, his hairdresser and Rodrygo Goes’ too, shared photos and videos on his official Instagram account of Yamal’s visit to his salon, and fans left their support in the comments:

Although it is unknown whether this ritual is due to superstition or simply to continue taking care of his image, there is no doubt that for Lamine, every detail counts.
Meanwhile, in the run-up to the match, Hansi Flick showed his support for the team and said: “We want to make the impossible possible and we believe we can do it.”
