If it comes down to choosing between family and her heart, Kylie Kelce has no doubts. The wife of former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce made it very clear who will have her support this Sunday at Super Bowl LIX, breaking the hearts of her in-laws.
Tight end Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs will face the Eagles for the second time in three years in the game for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Philadelphia suffered a bitter 38-35 defeat in the 57th edition of the Super Bowl, so this year, they will arrive thirsty for revenge at the New Orleans Superdome.
The game left the Kelces between a rock and a hard place. Kylie admitted to feeling anxious and “slightly conflicted” about watching her brother-in-law take on her beloved team in the championship game. But, in the end, the Pennsylvania native had to follow her heart.

Kylie Kelce’s true love
Speaking to Good Morning America, the mother of three said, “I’m so excited for Travis, but ultimately I gotta go with my roots. Go Birds!” The “Not Gonna Lie” podcast host went further, by saying she would never wear Chiefs merchandise, not even for Travis.
“I just can’t do it. I will cheer on Travis every single day of the week, forever, but I won’t wear Chiefs stuff,” Kylie told USA Today Sports last year, ahead of Super Bowl LVIII when Kansas City beat the San Francisco 49ers.
As for the rest of the family, Jason, a champion with the Eagles in Super Bowl LII, has remained neutral heading into Sunday’s game. Instead, her daughters-Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2-will be cheering on Uncle Travis, but from home.
Kelce girls won’t be traveling to New Orleans
Kylie explained that the logistics of travel, school, and childcare were too complicated. Plus, her daughters would hardly enjoy the three-plus hours that a Super Bowl lasts, on average. Instead, the little girls will be cheering on Kelce from home wearing T-shirts that read “Go Uncle Trav,” Kylie said.
“They love their uncle, and, of course, they love cheering him on. He’s our family, and I want to make sure they feel included,” Kelce explained while noting that his daughters love “cheering on the Birds too.”
