Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. wants to knock out Jake Paul and will not sign any clause to prevent it

June 28 is the date when Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has an unexpected date with destiny and could be on his calendar as the day he put an end to his already irregular career, if he were to lose to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

However, according to his very marked optimism, that is not going to happen, and on the contrary, “he will return Paul to be a full-time YouTuber“, as he also wants to knock him out, so he said that he will not sign any ‘no-knockout’ clause as it is rumored that there was in the fight in Arlington against Mike Tyson.

Chavez Jr. wants to ‘avenge’ ‘Iron Mike’

The pertinent question here is whether he can do it, as at 39 years of age, the junior is far from being the dangerous opponent who could make the famous character bite the dust and is shaping up to be just another of his questionable ‘dance partners’ in his bizarre parties.

The junior has said repeatedly that he wants to ‘avenge’ Mike Tyson, whom he has adored since childhood and who is a close friend of his father, the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez, because he believes that Tyson was humiliated by Paul that night of November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“There are no scripts, no tricks”

This is what he told Eli Seckbach of ES News in a conversation that required an interpreter, as the junior’s English is poor: “The opportunity to beat him is the important thing about this fight, so I fight with him because I want to beat him, and that is the most important thing for me,” said Chavez Jr.

And when asked if there was a no-knockout clause, the controversial son of the legend made it clear: “No, it’s a real fight. I don’t sign that kind of thing” to which he added an impassioned invitation to buy the PPV to fans interested in seeing if he is able to fulfill his promise: “It’s a genuine competition. No scripts, no tricks, no oversized gloves,” he concluded.
