Josh Allen’s winning streaks look unreal: And he just passed Mahomes doing it

The numbers don’t even sound real anymore: Josh Allen is 8-0 on Thursday games, 8-0 against the Dolphins at home, 13-0 in his last 13 starts, and the Bills are 3-0 to start the new season. In Buffalo, winning behind Allen has become routine-almost expected.

But Thursday night against Miami wasn’t just about extending streaks. It was about cementing Allen’s place in NFL history. The former Wyoming standout not only guided the Bills to another win, but he also became the fastest quarterback ever to reach 300 total touchdowns, surpassing Patrick Mahomes’ previous mark.

Unstoppable streaks, undeniable milestone

Allen hit the milestone in his 127th career game, combining 225 passing touchdowns with 67 rushing scores. That dual-threat balance tells the whole story: Allen isn’t just winning games, he’s reshaping how the position is played.

Against the Dolphins, he was clinical-22 of 28 through the air, three touchdowns, zero turnovers. He found Dalton Kincaid, Jackson Hawes, and Khalil Shakir in the end zone and made it look effortless. Through three weeks of the 2025 season, Allen has already thrown for 755 yards, five touchdowns, and nearly a 70% completion rate.

Since entering the league as the No. 7 overall pick in 2018, Allen has become Buffalo’s cornerstone, with three Pro Bowl trips, two All-Pro selections, and the 2023 MVP to his name. But it’s the combination of streaks and milestones that’s separating him from the rest of the pack.

For Bills fans, Thursday’s win was more proof of what they already know: Josh Allen isn’t just on a hot run-he’s building a legacy that could redefine what dominance in the NFL looks like.
