Influencer and boxer Jake Paul found a new way to provoke Floyd Mayweather Jr. by comparing the size of their private jets. Despite “Money” amassing a much larger fortune, Paul mocked him for having a smaller plane.
In a scene that quickly went viral, Jake Paul parked his private jet, a Bombardier Global Express worth around $40 million, next to the famous “Air Mayweather”, the approximately $60 million Gulfstream G500. In the video, Paul boasts of having 14 windows compared to Floyd’s six, a comparison he used to publicly mock the retired undefeated champion.
These types of provocations are not new in the rivalry between the two, especially after the tense exhibition that Floyd starred in 2021 against Jake’s brother, Logan Paul.

Although Jake Paul has generated millions thanks to his fights, personal brands and viral content, the economic distance to Mayweather is still abysmal. Floyd has earned between $1.2 billion and $1.5 billion throughout his boxing career, with a perfect 50-0 record and exhibitions such as the aforementioned one against Logan Paul.
Forbes estimates Mayweather’s net worth at $285 million, not counting his million-dollar bets, such as his recent win by betting on Terence Crawford against Canelo Alvarez. Meanwhile, Jake Paul has a fortune of approximately $50 million, according to the same magazine, although his popularity and business are on the rise.

Beyond boxing, Paul has made ostentation a personal hallmark. His mansion in Puerto Rico, dubbed “Taj MaPaul”, is valued at $20 million. He also recently sported a $5.5 million watch at the press conference ahead of his fight against Gervonta Davis.
This is in addition to the purchase of a $39 million ranch that includes everything from stables to elite training facilities. It’s all part of his strategy to position himself as a dominant figure in both sports and confrontation.
