Jake Paul reacts to Canelo Alvarez’s latest victory in the worst possible way

The victory of Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez by unanimous decision over William Scull to become the undisputed super middleweight champion again left the boxing world with a bitter feeling after the poor performance in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Fans, commentators, boxing experts and boxers spoke out about the disappointing fight, and one of those who could not miss to add his opinion was Jake Paul, who has been linked with a possible fight against Canelo Alvarez and could not miss the opportunity to join the conversation.

“Embarrassing,” was the blunt and no-nonsense comment posted by Jake Paul on his X account, given the lack of boxing that was seen in the ring, where Canelo looked impotent against a Cuban rival who went up determined to ruin the show, so the opinion of The Problem Child could have been directed at either of the two boxers or in general at the lack of spectacle.

Terence Crawford was the highlight of Canelo’s fight

In the absence of boxing, with a Scull running and a Canelo who could not catch him, the best of the evening came afterwards, when His Excellency Turki Alalshikh appeared in the ring to confirm the fight Saul Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford for September 12, in Las Vegas, to contest the undisputed super middleweight title.

Among the explosive comments, one of the most annoying was the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez, who during the broadcast for TV Azteca did not hold back and with rudeness on the air expressed his annoyance at the fight that did not meet expectations.

Another who commented on the fight was boxer Claressa Shields: “I’m not going to lie! Scull’s defense has been impeccable! Canelo tries to nail him on the cross and keeps missing!”.
