Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter has been off the field after suffering a season-ending knee injury, but his time at home has created a new kind of highlight.

Instead of burning defenders on Sundays, he is spending quiet moments with his wife, Leanna Lenee, and their 3-month-old son.

Lenee shared a new photo on Instagram that showed Hunter holding their baby boy. The moment was pure sweetness, although Lenee decided to add a bit of her trademark humor. Her caption read:

Taking care of 2 babies is not for the weak

Fans who followed their days at Colorado remember her gameday outfits and confident personality. Nothing has changed now that Hunter is in the NFL. The couple revealed they welcomed their son in late August, right as Hunter began his first professional season.

Hunter entered the league as the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner and the second overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. His rookie campaign started strong. His best game featured eight catches for 101 yards and his first NFL touchdown. The excitement surrounding him took a turn after a non-contact knee injury in practice. Reports from ESPN and NFL.com explained that early optimism about a late-season return faded once the Jaguars confirmed he needed LCL surgery. The team has since ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

A family moment becomes the bright spot of a difficult season

The Jaguars later shared that Hunter suffered no additional damage and is expected to return to full football activities in about six months. The Associated Press reported that this timeline places his comeback around mid-May, which should allow him to participate in offseason work.

Hunter made an impact on both sides of the ball during his seven games. He recorded 28 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown on offense. He also produced 15 tackles and three passes defensed on defense. His versatility was quickly becoming one of Jacksonville’s most intriguing assets.

While the team waits for his recovery to progress, fans are finding a different kind of entertainment in Lenee’s family updates. Her playful roast gave supporters a much-needed light moment and showed that even an NFL star can get lovingly humbled at home.
