Antoine Griezmann‘s possible departure from Atletico Madrid has been the main concern for Diego Simeone and the fans of the Spanish club. The French striker is a legend at the club, but in the middle of the season he received a very good proposal from MLS and that made him doubt quite a lot.

“Regarding the situation of Antoine Griezmann, I think he is comfortable in Madrid. There he plays, he is important,” explained the DAZN commentator. “The team is alive in almost all competitions, so I don’t see it likely that he will pack his bags and go to MLS now, although I think that would be his desire.”
“The timing is not right because he still has many things to do this season at Atletico,” Umtiti added.
Griezmann is going for another final with Atletico Madrid
While Griezmann analyzes his particular situation, the striker and Atletico Madrid are already thinking about playing a new final, as this week they will play the second leg of the Copa del Rey semifinal against Barcelona, where they won 4-0 in the first leg.
