The boxing schedule for next weekend offers a card headlined by American fighterGabriela Fundora, who will defend her WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF and Ring Magazine flyweight titles against Mexico’s Marilyn Badillo in a battle of undefeated fighters.

The event is organized by Golden Boy Promotions and Sampson Boxing, and will take place at the Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California this Saturday, April 19, in a fight in which Gabriela ‘Sweet Poison’ Fundora is motivated after becoming the undisputed world champion at 112 pounds, after knocking out Gabriela Celeste Alaniz and adding to her IBF belt the WBA, WBC and WBO titles.

It will be a fight of reserved prognosis against Marilyn ‘La Mexicana’ Badillo, the number one IBF challenger, who is ready for the surprise, aware that she has nothing to lose and, in exchange, can become the undisputed flyweight champion.

The main event will be a 10-round bout, where Fundora, who was born in Coachella Valley, California, comes to this fight as the youngest undisputed world champion and with an undefeated record of 15-0 and seven knockouts, while Badillo, a native of Cuautitlan, State of Mexico, boasts a record of 19-0-1, and three knockouts.

“I’m excited to make history again, this time defending my undisputed status against the hungry Badillo. This is my first main event and I’m looking forward to showing the world all the effort that the Fundora team puts in to be the best,” said ‘Sweet Poison’ Fundora.
