Francisco Lindor’s daughters go viral in emotional plea that could change All-Star fate

Francisco Lindor‘s quest for his first MLB All-Star Game start as a Met has taken a touching turn thanks to an unexpected campaign from home.

In a now-viral Instagram story, Lindor‘s daughters, Kalina and Amapola, appeared alongside their newborn brother with a playful but emotional message for fans.

“If you don’t vote for him, you’re personally insulting them,” read the caption, which quickly captured the attention of Mets fans and beyond.

The short video, shared by Lindor‘s wife Katia, was a lighthearted moment with real weight behind it.

It reminded fans that behind every great athlete is a family rooting just as hard for success as the fans in the stands.

Katia added her own encouragement: “Keep those votes coming! You can vote 5x a day until the 26th of this month. Let’s support our own.”

Support for Lindor grows louder

Mets supporters have answered the call. As of the latest update, Lindor leads all National League shortstops in All-Star voting, holding a sizable lead over second-place Mookie Betts.

He has received more than 1.64 million votes, and with the final phase of voting underway, he is closer than ever to earning his first All-Star start in a Mets uniform.

The numbers on the field match the push off it. Lindor is near the top of the league in WAR, extra-base hits, and defensive metrics.

But it’s the family element that’s giving this campaign a unique energy.

The Lindor children’s appeal is simple and sincere, showing fans a different side of a player often praised for his passion and charisma.

Their presence has added a personal layer to the campaign, reminding everyone that baseball is as much about heart as it is about stats.

This year, Lindor is putting up All-Star numbers at the right time.

He has frequently been snubbed in past seasons despite performing at a high level by July.

Now, that narrative seems to be changing. Fans are responding not just to Lindor‘s performance, but to the story unfolding around him.

His journey from being overlooked in New York to front-runner status in 2025 feels like a long-awaited redemption.

And the emotional support from his family might be the final push he needs. Voting closes June 26.

If Lindor holds on to his lead, it will be more than just a personal milestone.

It will be a moment of recognition not only for his play but for the family that helped carry the message.

For Mets fans and baseball lovers alike, it’s become a campaign impossible to ignore.
