Exciting lineup announced for 2025 NBA slam dunk contest

The NBA has revealed the participants for the 2025 Slam Dunk Contest, promising an electrifying showcase of athleticism and creativity. The event, scheduled for February 15th at 8 p.m. ET in San Francisco, will feature a mix of seasoned veterans and rising stars.

Leading the pack is Mac McClung, the Orlando Magic G League standout who has won the last two dunk contests. McClung’s high-flying dunks and charismatic style have made him a fan favorite, and he aims to secure a three-peat.

Joining McClung is Stephon Castle, the San Antonio Spurs rookie who was the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Castle has impressed in his rookie season, averaging 12.2 points per game and showcasing his dunking prowess.

But there is still one more contestant

Completing the lineup is Andre Jackson Jr., the Milwaukee Bucks guard and second-round pick from the 2023 draft. Jackson has shown his leaping ability early in his career and is eager to bring excitement to the event.

The Slam Dunk Contest is always a highlight of the NBA All-Star Weekend, and this year’s lineup is no exception. Fans can look forward to a night of jaw-dropping dunks and thrilling performances as these athletes push the limits of what’s possible.

It has been a highly anticipated event during the All-Star weekend and now everyone must wait for the date for everything to begin, with young talent in display and a lot of upside for many of them in a traditional contest what everyone wants to see.
