Eli Manning did not stay silent and sent a strong message to Josh Allen, who is going through a difficult moment

One week has passed since Josh Allen was eliminated in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, and the pain is still very real. Beyond any hate that may exist, many NFL fans want to see the Buffalo Bills quarterback lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy. However, for yet another year, he has fallen short.

This loss hurts even more because these playoffs did not feature Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, or Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals. If the Bills were expected to reach the Super Bowl out of the AFC at the beginning of the season, seeing so much talent absent from the postseason only made that expectation even greater.

Josh Allen has accustomed us to heroic performances. He delivered one in the Wild Card Round against the Jacksonville Jaguars and also had strong moments against the Denver Broncos. The biggest issue, however, was the four turnovers-especially a costly fumble before the end of the second quarter that led to three points, which ultimately made the difference.

Josh Allen remains a role model

Despite his playoff setbacks, there is no doubt that Josh Allen is a role model. He is a top-3 quarterback in the NFL, still has a long career ahead of him, and will surely find the path that takes him to the biggest game in the league.

Eli Manning, New York Giants legend, shared a strong opinion and compared Big Blue star Jaxson Dart to Josh Allen’s talent: “He kind of has that Josh Allen ability to run and make plays with his feet, which is amazing. But also make the throws on time when you need them,” said the two-time Super Bowl MVP via Research Ground.

The comparison makes sense. Josh Allen is a true dual-threat quarterback, capable of destroying defenses through the air and on the ground. In his rookie season, Jaxson Dart showed similar traits to the current NFL MVP. In 12 games, Dart recorded 24 total touchdowns: 15 passing and 9 rushing.

To top it off, Jaxson Dart will be coached by head coach John Harbaugh, who during his time with the Baltimore Ravens developed a player like Lamar Jackson-another quarterback known for his ability to attack both through the air and on the ground. Harbaugh now faces the major challenge of developing Jaxson Dart into a player capable of returning a historic franchise like the New York Giants to the top.
