Jake Paul’s rapid rise in the ring and his ever-growing business life has been matched by the development of his love life, which is not talked about too much, alongside the Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam, with whom the YouTuber boxer has been in a relationship since 2023.
Jake Paul and Jutta Leerdam announce their engagement
It turns out that Jake Paul and Jutta Leerdam recently announced their engagement and with it they made the news, in the midst of all the business and possibilities that the influencer has in store to continue in the spotlight and making money, while Leerdam does not report too much of her sporting activity, which in truth, sells much less than the activities that Paul prioritizes, such as boxing, his YouTube channel and his companies.
The video with which they made the announcement immediately went viral, as Leerdam could be seen crying at the moment of the ‘proposal’, in a heartwarming moment that they decided to share with their fans and in which they appeared fully dressed in white in the middle of a paradisiacal environment.
One of the people who was immediately questioned when Paul’s engagement became known was Eddie Hearn, promoter of Matchroom Boxing, with whom the YouTuber has not had what can be said a ‘good chemistry’, although now they share business, such as the fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, which will see its trilogy concluded on July 11.
Hearn’s unexpected praise for Paul
That’s why talkSPORT.com sought out Hearn and he threw a direct dart at him when questioning him about the state of the relationship he currently has with Jake Paul and whether he considers it an idea for him to invite him to his wedding, to which the businessman replied: “Probably not (…) No. Look, I like it, I think what Jake has done, not only in his boxing career, but also in the great events he has organized, is something to be recognized. For example, I was not in favor of Jake Paul against Mike Tyson, but what an event! The numbers were fantastic. I mean, we had Taylor Serrano on the card, you know?” said Hearn
And on the possibility of Paul facing Anthony Joshua in 2026, Hearn also had an opinion: “The guy knows how to generate headlines. You just have to be a little bit careful when you’re looking for the money, the big moments. If you get it wrong in choosing, it’s not a game. So if he wants to take a chance on a fight with Anthony Joshua, why not?” he concluded.
