There is less and less time left until the start of the 2026 Major League Soccer season and at Inter Miami the atmosphere is one of total enthusiasm. After winning the MLS Cup, the club has another reason to be excited: it will leave Chase Stadium for its new home, Miami Freedom Park.

This Friday, David Beckham, co-owner of the franchise, visited the site and shared images of the progress of the work, making it clear that the project is already a tangible reality.

Beckham toured the stadium and showed the progress

Through his social networks, Beckham published a message that quickly generated repercussions among the club’s fans and those of MLS.“Miami Freedom Park… very soon. I took a quick trip to check out the progress of our new home and can’t believe how amazing it looks. I had to be the first to kick a ball here,” the former England international wrote on his Instagram account, alongside images of the stadium under construction.

Beckham’s visit confirms that the project is progressing as planned and that Inter Miami is on track to open one of the most modern soccer infrastructures in the United States.

A modern stadium in the heart of Miami

Miami Freedom Park is set to become one of the league’s great architectural jewels. The stadium will have a capacity for 25,000 spectators, will be roofed and will have state-of-the-art technology, with the aim of positioning the club as one of the most attractive on and off the field.

Strategically located in the heart of Miami, just minutes from the airport, the venue will be surrounded by multiple public transport access points and will have 5,000 parking spaces, making it easy for fans to get to on match days and special events.

“The rest of the development includes offices, hotels, a public park, shops, restaurants and attractions. We hope it will be a home for the city and a place where you can come to celebrate Miami’s culture,” said Alvarez.

In total, the project will cover 131 acres, of which 58 acres will be allocated to public parkland, equivalent to more than 234,000 square meters of green space. It will also include youth sports fields, recreational spaces and an area prepared for concerts and large events.
