Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys‘ quarterback, has epitomized the “Prime Time Dak” moniker during the 2025 NFL season, delivering electrifying performances under the national spotlight. Official NFL records reveal Prescott boasts a 2-2-1 record in five primetime games. His recent standout three-game win streak-starting with a 33-16 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on November 17, followed by a 24-21 triumph against the Philadelphia Eagles on November 23, and a 31-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on November 27-has been a season-saver, lifting the Cowboys from 3-6-1 to 6-5-1, ninth in the NFC.

This surge has boosted their playoff odds to 25%. Prescott’s primetime prowess is evident in estimated stats derived from his season totals (3,261 yards, 25 TDs, 8 INTs). His leadership, complemented by CeeDee Lamb‘s 51 catches, 744 yards and 3 TD, and George Pickens‘ 73 receptions with 1142 yards and 8 TD, has revitalized the offense.

This has been the five previous primetime Cowboys games this season:

  • Week 1: vs. Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football (SNF)
  • Week 4: vs. Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football (SNF)
  • Week 9: vs. Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football (MNF)
  • Week 11: at Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football (MNF)
  • Week 13: vs. Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day

Prescott dominates primetime for Cowboys

Looking ahead, three of the Cowboys’ final five games are primetime, totaling eight for the season:

  • December 4 (TNF) at Detroit Lions (8:15 PM EST)
  • December 14 (SNF) vs. Minnesota Vikings (8:20 PM EST)
  • December 25 (Christmas Day) vs. Washington Commanders (1:00 PM EST)

Dak Prescott is determined to prove he can lead the Dallas Cowboys to victory in high-stakes matchups. Known for his poise and strong arm, Prescott has often been under scrutiny in critical games, but he’s embracing the challenge. With playoff implications on the line, he’s focused on showing that he can perform when it matters most, keeping the offense efficient and making smart decisions under pressure. His leadership on and off the field inspires confidence in teammates, and he’s committed to silencing doubters. Every throw and read is part of his mission to cement his legacy as a clutch quarterback.
