Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn will finally face each other after the doping scandal that truncated the fight that both fighters had scheduled since 2022, and that cost Benn a provisional suspension for the use of clomiphene, a performance-enhancing drug that raises testosterone levels, and which was ultimately due to the boxer’s excessive egg consumption in the days of his urine test.

The fight was highly anticipated and still is because it involves a kind of generational revenge, as the boxers are the sons of Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn, two great exponents of British boxing who had their history in two fights, one that Eubank won in 1990 and another that ended in a draw in 1993 for the super middleweight unification.

Eubank and Benn ‘want each other’

Eubank Jr. and Benn will be fighting for more than just honour, and they have been waiting for almost three years, so the fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London is expected to be explosive, with power and an unpredictable outcome.

Since the cancellation of their first fight, Benn has two unanimous decision wins over Rodolfo Orozco and Peter Dobson, while Eubank Jr. suffered a loss to Liam Smith, then a victory over himself in the rematch, and another over Kamil Szeremeta in October in Riyadh.

Benn moved up two weight classes to face Eubank, who has a record of 34 wins and three losses with 25 knockouts. Connor Benn, on the other hand, boasts an undefeated record in 23 fights with 14 knockouts.

Where and when is the fight between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn?
