The Chargers control their destiny to win the AFC West, but must win out to do so. The Texans can win the AFC South if they win out and the Jacksonville Jaguars drop a game. Both teams are carrying win streaks — four straight for the Chargers and seven in a row for the Texans — and have got hot in similar ways. They boast two of the best all-around defenses in the NFL, with playmakers at quarterback — Justin Herbert and C.J. Stroud — who make smart decisions and come through in clutch moments.
